Meet The Owners

Felecia Barnes APRN, FNP-C, CWCN-AP

Felecia has been in the Nursing field for 15 years and, most recently, as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has served with Preferred Mobile Wound Care, providing in-home wound management, patient education, and evidence-based treatment using up-to-date wound care practices. Previous Nurse Practitioner positions include roles with Floyd Medical Center and Atrium Health Floyd, where she collaborated closely with CWOCN nurses to develop and implement effective care plans in an acute care environment. She received her FNP-C master's degree from Chamberlain University and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shorter University.

Tonja Briggs APRN, FNP-C, CWON, CWON-AP, CFCN

Tonja has 30 years of professional healthcare nursing experience, with a the last three years focused on her Nurse Practitioner credentials. Most recently, she has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner with plastic surgery practice that includes facial aesthetics and wound care. She has has been spent the previous 8 years with a special focus on Inpatient & outpatient Wound and Ostomy Care. She has become an extremely valuable resource across multiple healthcare settings (OR, ICU, inpatient care, family medicine), not only for her direct care but also for her expert consultation in the evaluation of wounds of various types. Her positions have included roles at Doctor Keloid Scar and Cosmetic Center, Preferred Healthcare (Mobile Wound Care), and Wellstar Health System. She received her FNP-C master's degree from Kentucky Christian University and previously earned a BSN degree and RN licensure from Ohio University. She has received specialized training through Empire Medical.
